BMW Rear Trailing Arm Bushing Deflection Limiter

There are several RTAB travel limiters for rubber OE style bushings, on the market. They all allow the rear wheels to toe out during acceleration when the rubber lips compress. It is not a good idea to install the E-Limiters on both sides of the same RTAB because the bushing need to be able to deflect a little, three dimensionally.
The rubber lips, toward the outside of the car, are cut off flush with the metal housing. A razor blade or sharp utility knife works great. The lips can be cut while the bushing is still installed in the trailing arm.
